A Bit Of An Errand For Me Wife

McQuillan walked into a bar and ordered martini after martini, each time removing the olives and placing them in a jar. When the jar was filled with olives and all the drinks consumed, the Irishman started to leave. “S’cuse me”, said a customer, who was puzzled over what McQuillan had done, “what was that all about?”

“Nothin”, said the Irishman, “me wife just sent me out for a jar of olives!”

No Luck At All

A man in a bar sees a friend at a table, drinking by himself.

Approaching the friend, he comments, “You look terrible. What’s the problem?”

“My mother died in June, and left me $10,000.” said the friend. “Gee, that’s tough,” he replied. “Then in July,” the friend continued, “My father died, leaving me $50,000.” The man looking concerned says, “Wow. Two parents gone in two months. No wonder you’re depressed.” The friend continues, “And last month my aunt died, and left me $15,000.” “Three close family members lost in three months??? How sad!!!”

“Then this month,…” continued, the friend, “Nothing! Not a single dime!”

Eighteen Double Vodkas

A guy walked into a bar one day and said to the barman, “Give me six double vodkas.”

The barman says, “Wow! you must have had one hell of a day.”

“Yeah, I just found out my oldest son is gay.”

The next day, the same guy came into the bar and asked for the same drinks. When the bartender asked what the problem was today the answer came back, “I just found out that my youngest son is gay, too!”

On the third day, the guy came into the bar and ordered another six double vodkas. The bartender said, “Jesus! Doesn’t anybody in your family like women?”

The man downed the first drink and shook his head, “Yeah, my wife!”

Beer And Walking

A recent study found the average American walks about 900 miles per year.

Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year.

That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an American.

Speech Impediment

Two life-long friends were enjoying a few pints down at the local bar, when one said to the other:

“If I ask you a question, will you promise to answer me honestly?”

“Yeah, sure thing,” replied his friend, “fire away.”

“Well,” said the first guy, “why do you think all the guys around here find my wife so attractive?”

“It’s probably because of her speech impediment,” replied the second guy.

“What do you mean her speech impediment?” inquired the first fellow.

“My wife doesn’t have a speech impediment!”

“Well,” replied his friend, “you must be the only guy who hasn’t noticed that she can’t say ‘NO’!”

Selling the Wife

A drunk walked into a bar crying. One of the other men in the bar asked him what happened.

“I did a terrible thing,” sniffed the drunk, “Just a few hours ago I sold my wife to someone for a bottle of Southern Comfort.”

“That is awful,” said the other guy, “And now that she is gone you want her back right?”

“Right!” said the drunk, still crying.

“You’re sorry you sold her because you realised, too late, that you still loved her, right?”

“Oh, No,” said the drunk. I want her back because I’m thirsty again!”

Bad News 2

A man walks into a bar and asks for six shots of vodka. The bartender says, “Six shots? What’s wrong?”

“I found out my older brother is gay,” replied the man.

The next night, he walked into the bar again and asked for six shots of vodka. “What now?” asked the bartender.

“I found out my younger brother is gay,” replied the man.

The night after that, the man walked into the bar again and asked for six shots of vodka. “Geez, does ANYBODY in your family like women?” asked the bartender.

The man replied, “Yeah, my wife does.”

Evils of Liquor

A professor of chemistry wanted to teach his fifth grade class a lesson about the evils of liquor, so he produced an experiment that involved a glass of water, a glass of whiskey, and two worms.

“Now, class. Observe the worms closely,” said the professor as he put the first worm into the water. The worm in the water writhed about, happy as a worm in water could be.

The second worm, he put into the whiskey. It writhed painfully, and it quickly sank to the bottom, dead as a doornail. “Now, what lesson can we derive from this experiment?” the professor asked.

Little Johnny, who naturally sits in back, raised his hand and wisely, responded, “Drink whiskey and you won’t get worms!”

Extremely Drunk

A man, whose level of drunkenness was bordering on the absurd, stood up to leave a bar and fell flat on his face.

“Maybe all I need is some fresh air,” thought the man as he crawled outside.

He tried to stand up again, but fell face first into the mud.

“Screw it,” he thought. “I’ll just crawl home.”

The next morning, his wife found him on the doorstep asleep.

“You went out drinking last night, didn’t you?” she said.

“Uh, yes,” he said sheepishly.

“How did you know?”

“You left your wheelchair at the bar again.”
